I got a new handheld

New to me, that is. Someone close to me upgraded to a Blackberry and offered me their Tungsten E, which I gladly accepted (valuable not only for itself, but for helping me to avoid the long decision-making process).

I installed CJK OS in order to read 한글. I installed a trial version of e4u Dic 1.0. Not sure if this is the product I will purchase, but I haven’t been able to find anything else I want to buy.

Installing DioPen transformed most of my Palm into a 한글 environment. Break out the 사전!

Thanks to all who offered their advice, both publicly and privately.

What are you sync-ing it with? Mac or PC? And does the han'geul sync well?

I sync with a PC. The 한글 doesn't sync at all right now...I've set up my Korean study routine in an Excel spreadsheet, and the 한글 in that file appears as question marks on the handheld.

Hi!
Sharp's electronic dictionaries use the e4u software. I've found it to be pretty good...so far.

Oh, have you posted your "study routine" on this site? How often do you study?

I do some studying during my bus commute. I look at some language sites (kangmi is one of them) over the day -- I love the "word o' day" on your site. Maybe I'll listen to some language tapes. I can't say I have a very disciplined regimen!

I haven't purchased any software for it yet, but just installed trial versions. I'm waiting to get a couple of other things set up on it first.

Yes, you can find my study routine here. I haven't been able to completely follow it yet, but I'm slowly working my way in that direction.

Hello,
I came here by the link on the blog of my friend's.
It's nice to see you here as a Palm - clie T615C - user and English-speaking-Korean. I'm impressed a lot. I'm not good at English as much as you are at Korean but good enough to say hello to you and leave this sort of comment, I think. I will come here very often - almost once in everyday.
Your blog gives me some embarrassment, like bare-naked in front of a mirror. But not bad. Necessarily enough does it reflect. Too long as a hello. Sorry.

Thanks for visiting. Don't be shy about commenting...I'm really a Korean-speaking American, and a not very good Korean-speaker at that. Your presence is welcome.
